1 lb. medium-sized oysters, shucked and shells reserved
1 ½ cups brown sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
½ cup soy sauce
1 cup brandy
1/8 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoons hot sauce
1 tablespoon onion powder

Methods:
1. Preheat the oven to 425 F, pour the rock salt in a baking dish and arrange the oysters on top with meat side up.
2. In a medium bowl, mix the brown sugar, garlic powder, soy sauce, brandy, black pepper, hot sauce, and onion powder.
3. Divide the brown sugar mixture on the oysters, grease lightly with cooking spray, and place the dish in the oven.
4. Bake in the oven until golden brown on top, 5 to 7 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
